Post 2008 Retreat.....

Hi All,

Yes it has been a busy few months so I am sorry that this post is a little overdue however we are now on the countdown to LOUTH RETREAT 2009........5th Annual Retreat once again of course being held at Trilby the weekend after Fathers Day.

However first I must THANK everyone again for such a great weekend last year. Once again with the smaller group it seemed to work really well. We had some rain, a dust storm, LOTS of bugs......just the usual really. Although all of that in mind no one complained at all & we once again had a great weekend.

Thanks to Monique for helping me out organising the t-shirts.

Thanks to all the fantastic sponsors which are listed on the side for all to see. THANK YOU. :0)

Thanks again to Sarah for again doing such a great job providing us with our very own scrapping store for the weekend.

THANKS of course to Liz our great hostess for another year & as always we were well looked after.

I am hoping that this year I will be able to stay at least one night instead of doing about 500kms going backwards & forwards......all good though.

option 1: afternoon tea Thurs to Lunch Sun inclusive - $280
option 2: lunch friday to Lunch Sun inclusive - $200
option 3: daily rate - $60 ( venue and meals only)

(N.B Option 2 now includes lunch for those arriving Friday)

Less than I week to go.....

Hi,

Well now we are less than a week away from the retreat for 2008. I am looking forward to catching up with you all & enjoying another Louth retreat.

No doubt that some of you are getting organised over the weekend with what you are going to do, pack etc. For me what ever I can pack in the car while the 'smalls' are asleep on Thursday will make it to Trilby. (he-he).

Countdown to Retreat 08

Hi there,

Well we are only 2 weeks out now from the 08 retreat at Trilby & I know I am looking forward to the weekend.

Thanks to everyone for the continuing support.

Of course you all know by now that our theme is PINK. We are having a raffle again this year & half the funds raised will be donated to the Jane McGrath foundation which we all agree they do such important work.....& as in the past the other half will go to my local RFDS clinic in Louth. What ever the amount raised it all helps......

There will be a photography tour on the Saturday afternoon which should give those that wish to join in a few photo opportunities.

On Saturday night we will be of course having a PINK themed dinner for a bit of fun. Once again no doubt we will be well catered for by Liz. (Murray).

2008 Retreat is ON

WOW - can you believe that the 2008 Louth Retreat is just around the corner!!!???

SEPTEMBER Thursday 11th - Sunday 14th

Once again - being held in the beautiful surrounds of "Trilby Station".

This year we are capping the attendance to 15 people. This will allow for PLENTY OF SCRAPPING ROOM. What more can a Scrapper want?

Post Retreat 2007......

Hi Everyone,

Thanks Monique for setting up this blog for me......I am sure you did it in half the time it took me to set up my own a few days ago.

I intend to use the blog to let everyone know about the upcoming 2008 retreat & all the details.....share photos etc.

Yes Louth 2007 was a great success......THANKS to those that could come along again & to those that were there for the first time. A great weekend was had by all.

2007 Retreat a HUGE Success!

The 2007 Retreat has come and gone & what a wonderful weekend it was! Smaller numbers this year - but that worked out well space wise and all the ladies enjoyed their areas!

We had ladies from Cobar, Wilcannia, Nyngan and Louth attending & they all had a blast!

The wonderful accomodation at "Trilby Station" was once again outstanding & Liz's wonderful cooking kept everyone feeling very satisfied!
